A “block” of information is recorded in the notebook each time a transaction takes place. The specifics of the transaction are contained in each block, including the amount borrowed, the borrower’s name, and the lender’s name. The block is also uniquely identified by a “hash” that serves as another kind of identification.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, here’s the interesting part: Once a block is added to the notebook, it cannot be changed or deleted. It becomes a permanent part of the blockchain. This means that everyone in the group can always refer back to the blockchain to see the history of transactions and verify their accuracy.<\/span><\/p>\n

But what if someone tries to tamper with a block? Well, that’s where the security of the blockchain comes into play. It does away with the requirement for a centralised authority by allowing various parties to maintain and verify a shared ledger.
